Blinken says US ready to discuss arms limitations with Russia

"[The US is] ready to talk about strategic arms limitations at any time with Russia, irrespective of anything else going on in the world or in our relationship," he told reporters accompanying him on a visit to Athens, according to the New York Times.

UNITED NATIONS, Feb 21 (NNN-AGENCIES) — UN member states embraced “positive energy” as they launched two weeks of negotiations aimed at finally reaching a treaty meant to protect and preserve vast areas of the world’s oceans.

After more than 15 years of formal and informal talks, this is the third time in less than a year that negotiators have converged on New York in what, yet again, is supposed to be a final and conclusive round.

Protesters Denounced U.S. As “War Machine” At Washington Rally

WASHINGTON, Feb 20 (NNN-XINHUA) – Hundreds of protesters, yesterday afternoon slammed America’s role of “war machine,” in overseas wars, at a rally before the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Organisers said, the anti-war rally was planned to protest against massive money funnelling into Ukraine, as well as, America’s role in the Russia-Ukraine conflicts.

“Billions of taxpayers’ dollars are being torched at the altar of U.S. hegemony, the military-industrial complex, and a corrupt Congress,” a release read.
