Palestine Condemns Israeli Threats To Sever Ties With PA

RAMALLAH, Sept 13 (NNN-WAFA) – Palestine, yesterday condemned “ongoing Israeli threats” to sever ties with the Palestinian Authority (PA), if Israel is hauled to the international courts.

In a press statement, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said, “Israel warned us, all the time, not to file war crime charges against Israel’s leaders and settlers.”

Palestine: Area around Al-Aqsa Mosque turning into army base; analyst warns

13 September 2023; MEMO: A Palestinian political analyst and specialist in Jerusalem affairs, Jamal Amro, warned on Tuesday of the area around Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city being turned into an army base during Jewish holidays, Shehab news agency has reported. Amro made his observation following the Israeli cabinet’s decision to raise the security level across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem during the upcoming holiday season.

Palestinian, Israeli soldier wounded in clashes in West Bank's Bethlehem

RAMALLAH, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- At least one Palestinian and an Israeli soldier were wounded on Thursday during clashes that erupted in the central West Bank city of Bethlehem, Palestinian and Israeli sources said.

Palestinian medical sources told Xinhua that the Israeli army transferred "a young Palestinian man with a foot injury" to a local hospital for treatment after clashes in Bethlehem.

Another Palestinian Killed In Clashes With Israeli Soldiers In West Bank

RAMALLAH, Sept 2 (NNN-WAFA) – Another young Palestinian was killed in clashes with Israeli soldiers, in the northern West Bank city of Tubas, Palestinian security and medical sources said, yesterday.

“Abdul Rahim Ghannam, 36, was killed by a live bullet, fired by an Israeli soldier,” the Palestinian Health Ministry said in a brief statement, without providing further details.

Palestinian security sources and eyewitnesses said, Israeli armed forces stormed the town of Aqaba in northern Tubas and surrounded a house, demanding a young man inside surrender himself.

Palestinian PM calls for int'l efforts to stop Israeli violations in West Bank

RAMALLAH, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Ishtaye on Monday called on the international community to take necessary measures to stop Israeli violations against the Palestinians in the West Bank.

Ishtaye made the appeal during the weekly meeting of the Palestinian Authority cabinet held in the West Bank city of Ramallah in response to remarks of the far-right Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, according to an official statement.

Palestinian Authorities Urge International Pressure On Israel To Stop Sponsoring Settler Groups

RAMALLAH, Aug 28 (NNN-WAFA) – Palestinian authorities yesterday called for international pressure on the Israeli government, to stop the sponsorship of settler groups in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry made the appeal in a press statement, after groups of Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farms in the West Bank on Saturday.

Holding the right-wing government of Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, “fully and directly responsible for these attacks,” the ministry said, “the results of such acts would create more tension in the area.”

Palestine Condemns Israeli Far-Right Minister’s “Racist Statements”

RAMALLAH/GAZA, Aug 26 (NNN-WAFA) – Palestine, yesterday, strongly condemned Israel’s far-right National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir’s “racist statements.”

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said in a press statement that, it condemned in the strongest terms “the racist statements and stances of Ben-Gvir.”

In an interview with Israel’s N12 News on Wednesday, Ben-Gvir said, the right to life and movement for him and his family, trumped the right to movement for Palestinian Arabs in the occupied West Bank.

Palestine: European Diplomats Pay Solidarity Visit To West Bank Village

RAMALLAH, Aug 25 (NNN-WAFA) — Representatives of European diplomatic missions in Palestine, yesterday paid a solidarity visit to a Palestinian village in the West Bank, and condemned the Israeli settlers’ acts against the Palestinians.

According to a joint statement, the European diplomats’ delegation, who visited the village of Burqa, east of the West Bank city of Ramallah, included representatives from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Finland, Belgium, Sweden, Britain, Norway, and Canada.

OIC rejects Israeli measures to impose sovereignty over Jerusalem

22 August 2023; MEMO: The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) said on Monday that it rejects any attempts to impose Israeli sovereignty over the city of Jerusalem and its sanctities. The OIC issued its statement on the 54th anniversary of the arson attack against Al-Aqsa Mosque, with which, it pointed out, Muslims have an “eternal connection”.
