01 Apr 2023; MEMO: Israeli occupation forces on Friday night shot dead a Palestinian youth in Al-Aqsa Mosque while he was trying to re-enter the holy site after being removed.

This came after Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and evacuated most of the Palestinian worshippers remaining inside.

At the same site of the killing, eyewitnesses stated they saw the Israeli occupation police assaulting a Palestinian woman who was also attempting to re-enter the mosque.

31 Mar 2023; MEMO: Palestinian Foreign Minister, Riyad Al-Maliki, has welcomed Azerbaijan's decision to open a diplomatic office in Ramallah soon, Anadolu News Agency reports.

This came during a meeting he held at the headquarters of the Palestinian Foreign Ministry in Ramallah on Thursday with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, according to a statement issued by Al-Maliki's office.

31 Mar 2023; MEMO: The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, called Thursday on Azerbaijan to reverse its decision to normalise relations with Israel, saying it would come at the expense of the Palestinian people's rights.

This came a day after Baku opened an embassy in Tel Aviv, after more than 30 years of diplomatic ties.

31 Mar 2023; MEMO: Israel has demolished more than 12,350 Palestinian homes and uprooted more than two million olive trees in the occupied Palestinian territories since 1967, a Palestinian rights group said yesterday.

RAMALLAH/GAZA, Mar 31 (NNN-WAFA) – Palestinians yesterday marked the 47th anniversary of the “Land Day,” amid calls to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories that has been going on since 1967.

They also called for establishing an independent Palestinian state on the territories seized by Israel in 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

28 Mar 2023; MEMO: The Israeli occupation authorities today posted a demolition order for a mosque in the south Hebron Hills area, Wafa has reported.

According to Rateb Jabour of the Wall and Settlements Resistance Committees in Masafer Yatta, Palestinians living in the neighbourhood of Khashm Al-Daraj have to demolish the mosque but have two weeks to object to the order. The mosque, he added, serves several communities in Masafer Yatta and the South Hebron Hills.

28 Mar 2023; MEMO: Israeli authorities demolished 953 Palestinian structures in the Occupied West Bank last year, according to the European Union on Tuesday, Anadolu News Agency reports.

"In 2022, a total of 953 structures were demolished or seized throughout the West Bank, including Jerusalem," the EU Representative Office for the Palestinians said in a statement.

The number of demolitions constitutes "the highest number recorded since 2016", the office said.

27 Mar 2023; MEMO: Israeli occupation forces have enforced a complete siege on the city of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, after an attack on soldiers stationed at a checkpoint in the town of Huwara, south of the city.

On Saturday evening, Israeli occupation forces closed all entrances to Nablus and prevented entry and exit from the city under the pretext of searching for the perpetrators of the attack.

RAMALLAH, March 25 (Xinhua) -- The Israeli army on Saturday night sealed off the northern West Bank district of Nablus following a drive-by shooting attack that wounded two Israeli soldiers in the town of Huwara, Palestinian security sources said.

The sources told Xinhua that following the shooting attack, Israeli army forces imposed a total siege on the district and blocked the roads leading to Nablus and many of the neighboring towns and villages to deny Palestinian vehicles access.

25 Mar 2023; MEMO: The National Democratic Assembly (NDA) on Friday condemned the "cowardly attack" on the house of the Salesian Sisters (of Saint John) in the city of Nazareth several days ago, Arab48.com reported.

In a statement, the NDA asserted: "Such repeated attacks reflect the police's unwillingness to fight crime and violence in the Arab communities."
