Students' row mars GSVM College annual fest

KANPUR: A brawl between resident doctors and medical students resulted in intense punches at the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Medical College annual programme ‘Tarang’ organised on its campus here.  The junior doctors anyhow controlled the situation and got them confined into the Boys’ Hostel-2.

On the second day of the programme, the junior resident doctors of ENT Department clashed with the junior students on some matter after the culmination of DJ night. They were said to have been under the influence of stimulating things as news reports said.

Seeing them in an intense altercation the Surgery Department's junior doctors approached to pacify them but the matter worsened further. They entangled with them also. Resultantly the junior doctors gathered there and got the hysterical medical students confined into the Boys’ Hostel-2.

Expressing his points on this matter, Proctor Prof (Dr) GD Yadav said that an altercation ensued between Resident doctors of ENT Department and junior students. They were sent to the hostel rooms after necessary warnings.
