KU Exam: VC & Registrar inspect centres, 3 held copying

KANPUR: As many as three students have been caught in the ongoing Chatrapati Sahuji Maharaj University (Kanpur University) graduation examinations. Looking over the arrangements Vice-chancellor Prof Nilima Gupta expressed her annoyance at the paucity of seating plan display on the main gate of examination centres. She directed the centre in-charges to paste a seating plan on the entrance. She also found that voice recorder gadget was not put at the SN Sen Degree College.

The flying squads checked the sensitive centres. As one college management closed the main gate of Gulab Singh Mahavidyalaya by erecting a wall on both sides, a narrow passage was kept open so that everyone should enter. Learning of this matter the Registrar Dr VK Singh got the wall demolished by sending the flying squad.

Inspecting exam centres at Ghatampur area, he instructed the centre-in-charge to conduct thorough checking of the examinees at the main gate so that there would remain the least chance of copying. He inspected three centres such as Pt Sahdev Prasad Trivedi Mahavidyalaya, Purushottam Sri Ram College and Bhaurao Devras College.
