India: CBSE examinees worried at wrong questions

KANPUR: The Central Board of Secondary Education examinees are not released from the wrong questions in the question paper. Both the Class X and the Class XII students have faced the agony of mistakes in recent days. Even the teachers have seen these errors.

According to the reports, wrong questions are not leaving the CBSE examinees from pangs of worry. Earlier there was a wrong question asked in the Class 12th Accounts paper. Now another wrong question came into sight in the Class 10th Mathematics paper.

Accounts paper has one wrong question of 6 marks. The wrong word ‘revaluation’ was written in place of ‘realisation.’ Maths paper bothered the students also for one wrong question of 3 marks. The mistake in question papers appeared on two consecutive days.

One math teacher told that question number 20 of the Class 10th mathematics question paper of set number one has a mistake. While question paper of set no 2 has included this question as question number 21. Students also understood the mistake though they accepted that the question was not out of the syllabus. Reading the minds of the examinees the teachers maintained that the examinees attempting this particular question would get full marks in the evaluation. Most of the examinees attempted all the questions.
