India: Road gets facelift on CM's arrival

Kanpur: The road that was neglected for the past six months changed its poor face on arrival of State chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday. Pandav Nagar main road got its complete facelift. The road users now find shining road.

The Nagar Nigam engaged its above two-dozen employees  in improving the bad condition of the road. The patchwork was done with care. Potholes were filled up. Cleaning was undertaken by the safai workers. Dirtless surface of the road was worth seeing. Roadside trees were pruned nicely. 

What the denizens were demanding for a long time turned out real in a few hours. Expressing satisfaction at the municipal corporation's initiative the area people looked happy and contented. They were overhead saying it would be fine if a VVIP plans to visit in the area not once but twice or thrice. 

The chief minister' public meeting at Shastri Nagar Central Park has been arranged in the evening today. Encroachments have been removed around the park. Even the betel shops at the comers have been removed. The construction materials put inside the park have also been sent to other spot. 

Podium has been erected. There is saffron colour all-around. The CM's helicopter is supposed to land at 5.50 pm. After addressing the public meeting at Ghatampur he will move for another rally in support of the party candidate contesting election on Kanpur seat.
