04 Feb 2023; MEMO: An Iranian government-backed hacking team allegedly stole and leaked private customer data belonging to French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo, security researchers at Microsoft said on Friday, Reuters reports.

Tehran, IRNA – Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani in a Twitter message reacted to the beating up of arrested Palestinian women in Damon Prison by Zionist officers, calling it abhorring.

Kanaani in his English language tweet wrote, "Beating female Palestinian inmates in #ZionistRegime's Damon Prison abhorrent."

He has also asked, "Do self-proclaimed rights defenders in Europe & US believe #HumanRights and women's rights apply to Palestinian prisoners in Israel's horrifying jails?"

Tehran, IRNA – The parts of the Micro Aerial Vehicles (MAVs) used in an attack on a military workshop in Isfahan have been transported into Iran by some anti-Revolution Kurdish militant groups deployed in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

According to confirmed information, the Kurdish militant groups received the parts of the MAVs and munitions from security services of other governments and delivered the shipment via difficult routes into a border city in northwestern Iran.

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Ministry of Defense has announced that a quadcopter drone attack on a defense industrial complex in the central Iranian province of Isfahan has failed.

In a statement released early on Sunday, the Ministry said that one of three drones attacking the defense equipment manufacturing complex in Isfahan was downed by a defense system stationed inside the facility and two others exploded after being caught in traps set by the defense system.

TEHRAN, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and 13 others injured in a multi-vehicle pileup on an intercity road in the southeastern Iranian province of Kerman on Saturday, the IRIB news agency reported.

The accident in the morning was caused by a collision of two semi-trailer trucks and five sedans on the road from Kerman city to Sirjan city, IRIB quoted Mojtaba Khaledi, a spokesman for the country's emergency services, as saying.

He cited the icy conditions of the road as the cause of the accident, saying four of the wounded are in critical condition.

25 Jan 2023; MEMO: In a tit-for-tat move, Iran on Wednesday announced fresh sanctions against dozens of individuals and entities affiliated with the European Union and the UK, Anadolu News Agency reports.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said it was placing 22 individuals and three entities from the EU on its sanctioned list, as well as eight individuals and one entity from the UK.
