26 September 2023; MEMO: A Kuwaiti criminal court revealed yesterday that it is looking into a case against a Kuwaiti national who hacked into the US Pentagon website, local media reported.
Al Rai newspaper reported that the hacker is a 28-year-old man, adding that his actions put the country’s ties with a key ally at risk.
Meanwhile, Forbes said that the Pentagon is investigating the “dangerous hacking” of the communications system of the US Air Force, adding that the FBI office could have been hacked by an engineer working in the Tennessee air force base.
The magazine stated that the Pentagon is investigating what it said was a “serious breach” of communications at 17 air force facilities by one of its engineers.
It said that the warrant also proved a possible breach of FBI communications by the same person, who worked at Arnold Air Force Base in Tennessee.
