ISLAMABAD, July 26 (NNN-APP) – Pakistan’s army said last night, its security forces killed a key terrorist of the armed group, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), in southwestern Balochistan province.
An army statement said, a major terrorist activity in Balochistan was averted, with the killing of a militant belonging to the BLA.
The paramilitary Frontier Corps in Balochistan, conducted an intelligence-based operation, on a suspected terrorist hideout in the Buleda area of the province, said the statement, from the army’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations.
A cache of arms and ammunition, grenades, communication equipment and improvised explosive device material were recovered from the hideout.
Earlier on Saturday, Pakistan’s army said that, one soldier was killed and three others injured, during the exchange of fire with terrorists in Balochistan.
An army statement said, terrorists fired on the security forces, during a routine patrol, near the Pidarak area of Kech district in Balochistan.
