AMMAN, Aug 20 (NNN-PETRA) – Jordan yesterday stressed its readiness, to provide all possible support to Lebanon, including providing electric power from the Jordanian grid.
Jordan will also help Lebanon get Egyptian gas through Jordan and Syria, said Jordan’s Energy and Mineral Resources Minister, Hala Zawati.
King Abdullah II of Jordan has reiterated his country’s willingness to cooperate with partners to help Lebanon, said the statement.
Zawati noted that, Jordan continues relevant discussions with Syria, Egypt and other partners, on ways to help Lebanon, which suffers from an economic crisis, including an acute power shortage.
