Belgrade, IRNA – Iran’s Embassy in Serbia published a message in response to the Israeli regime Ambassador to Belgrade, saying that Iran would respond to any aggression against its interests and citizens.
In the message that was published on Friday in Serbian media, Iran’s Embassy emphasized that peace and stability has always been a priority for Iran as a country with the longest coast in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
The Israeli regime and the United State gave no evidence for their accusations against Iran over the maritime incident off the coast of Oman, the message read, denying any allegation suggesting that Iran was involved.
The Embassy warned the US and the Israeli regime against any adventurism and use of force or threat, stating that Iran would respond to any aggression against its interests and citizens in any location.
The Israeli regime has been trying to sabotage the attempts to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as Iran nuclear deal, and to stop the US from returning to the deal, it said.
Iran has always supported peace and stability in the region and safe and free navigation and innocent passage in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea, the message added, questioning the fact that countries accusing Iran over the incident keep silent when Iranian ships are attacked.
