TEHRAN, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- Iran announced Thursday a court ruling demanding the U.S. government pay 420 million dollars in reparations for inflicting material and moral damages on Iranian people during a 1980 military operation.

TEHRAN, October 25. /TASS/: The supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, said the US is complicit in Israeli crimes against the Gaza Strip, Iran's Press TV reported.

"The US is no doubt an accomplice in the crimes of the Zionist regime (Israel - TASS) against the people of the Gaza Strip," the television channel quoted Khamenei as saying.

TEHRAN, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Tuesday called for greater solidarity among Muslim countries to support Gaza, highlighting the international organizations' responsibility in this regard.

Raisi made the remarks in separate meetings with the new ambassadors of Tunisia, Saudi Arabia and Slovenia in the Iranian capital Tehran to receive their credentials, according to statements published on the website of the Iranian president's office.

TEHRAN, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said on Tuesday the promotion of bilateral ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia will effectively enhance regional cooperation and help resolve the problems of the region.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Iran Abdullah bin Saud al-Anzi in the Iranian capital Tehran to receive his credentials, according to a statement published on the website of the Iranian president's office.

TEHRAN, October 23. /TASS/: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived in Tehran to participate in a ministerial meeting of the consultative 3+3 regional platform focusing on developments in the South Caucasus, a TASS correspondent reports.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed the minister's participation in the consultations.

TEHRAN, Oct 23 (NNN-ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, yesterday warned that, the region had turned into a “powder keg” and any miscalculation by Israel and its supporters could lead to “heavy and bitter” consequences for them.

TEHRAN, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- A top Iranian military official has warned the United States against its extensive support for Israel in the attacks against Gaza, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported on Friday.

Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Mohammad Baqeri gave the warning in a phone call with Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler on Thursday, in which the two sides discussed recent regional developments, particularly the situation in Gaza.

TEHRAN, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- A top Iranian military official has urged regional countries to stop the United States from transferring arms and equipment to Israel from its bases in the Middle East, the official news agency IRNA reported on Thursday.

Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Mohammad Baqeri made the remarks in a phone call with Qatar's Defense Minister Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, the IRNA reported, without disclosing the exact date of the phone call.
