YAOUNDE, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Several people are feared dead after gunmen raided a village in Cameroon's war-torn English-speaking region of Southwest, according to local and security sources.
The gunmen attacked the Egbekaw village early Monday, shooting indiscriminately, a person living in the village told Xinhua by phone.
"We have counted about 25 bodies, women and children among, all of them killed. People are mourning everywhere. It is a terrible day," the source said on condition of anonymity.

YAOUNDE, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Equatorial Guinea's incumbent president, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has been re-elected as the leader of the Central African country, according to official results published Saturday night.

YAOUNDE, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- At least four civilians were killed after the terror group Boko Haram raided a community in Cameroon's Far North region, according to locals and security sources.
The attack took place Monday night in Moutaz village of Tourou district of the region.
An army official who asked not to be named told Xinhua that the terrorists raided the civilian community after accusing them of collaborating with the army.
