SONGKHLA, Dec 6 (NNN-Bernama) – Three State Railway of Thailand (SRT) workers were killed and four others were injured when a bomb exploded Tuesday near the scene of the railway bomb explosion last Saturday in Sadao here.

Deputy Army Commander of the 4th Division Maj Gen Paisan Nusang confirmed that three SRT workers died at the scene while four others were injured and they are currently receiving treatment in hospital.

BANGKOK (AP) — Stocks were mostly lower in Asia on Tuesday after Wall Street pulled back as surprisingly strong economic reports highlighted the difficulty of the Federal Reserve’s fight against inflation.

BANGKOK, Nov 30 (NNN-TNA) – A bus accident has killed at least three people and injured more than 40 others, in Thailand’s northern province of Tak, local media reported, today.

The bus was carrying migrant workers from Myanmar, to a factory in Thailand’s Songkhla province, when it crashed through the middle barrier of the road, and plunged into the roadside ditch, last night, according to the Thai national daily, Matichon.

The injured have been rushed to a local hospital, and the cause of the accident was still under investigation.–

It followed complaints that policies aimed at eradicating the coronavirus by isolating every case might have worsened the death toll in an apartment fire in Urumqi in the northwestern Xinjiang region.

BANGKOK, Nov 25 (NNN-TNA) – Thailand’s auto production and exports, saw an increase in Oct, driven by an easing global semiconductor shortage, data showed, yesterday.

The country’s automobile manufacturing rose 10.83 percent in Oct, from a year earlier, to 170,717 units, 57.13 percent of which were made for exports, according to the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI).

BANGKOK (AP) — A Thai court on Tuesday resumed the long-delayed trial of two members of China’s Muslim Uyghur minority accused of carrying out a 2015 bombing at a Bangkok landmark that killed 20 people.

Another 120 people were injured in the Aug. 17, 2015, bombing of the Erawan shrine, which is popular among Chinese and other tourists.

BANGKOK, Nov 19 (NNN-Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping said here that China is ready to join Chile in pushing for further development of their comprehensive strategic partnership.

BANGKOK (AP) — Leaders from around the Asia-Pacific called for an end to Russia’s war on Ukraine and pledged to steer the region’s economies toward sustainable growth as they wrapped up summit meetings Saturday.

Host Thailand garnered a diplomatic coup in managing to bridge divisions among the 21 members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum by saying that most members had condemned the war. Russia is an APEC member, as is China, which generally has refrained from criticizing Moscow.

18 Nov 2022; MEMO: Thailand's Prime Minister met with Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, on Friday in Bangkok, signing agreements to expand diplomatic relations restored this year, more than three decades after Saudi Arabia downgraded ties over a jewellery theft, Reuters reports.

The two leaders presided over the signing of five agreements, pledging to increase trade and investment between the two countries, promote tourism and deepen cooperation in energy.
