European companies refusal to work with Iran could affect European economy

VERONA, October 25. /TASS/. European companies refusing to work with Iran, as well as a possible ban on imports of Iranian oil, could have serious consequences for the European economy, Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin said at the Eurasian Economic Forum.

"Earlier, we noted the fact that Total has left one of the largest gas projects in the world South Pars-11 with significant losses. The effect from European companies refusing to work with Iranian partners, including, perhaps, a complete ban of Iranian oil imports from November 5, 2018, could have the most serious consequences for the European economy," Sechin said.
