NEW YORK, May 29 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted southwest of Africa at 21:52:04 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 52.8887 degrees south latitude and 10.4898 degrees east longitude.
