MOSCOW, August 15. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will receive member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Political Bureau Yang Jiechi in his Sochi residence on Wednesday, August 15, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"The president will also receive member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Political Bureau Yang Jiechi, who is responsible for foreign affairs," he added.
Peskov also said that the Russian president had a heavy agenda on August 15. First, he was expected to attend the Mashuk North Caucasus Youth Forum in the city of Pyatigorsk. "Putin will have a look at the forum, including all the projects the youth are working on, and address the participants. He will also visit an exhibition dubbed Today’s Heroes of Russia," the presidential spokesman said.
From Pyatigorsk Putin will fly to Sochi, where he is scheduled to hold talks with his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimukhamedov. "The talks with the president of Turkmenistan will discuss the entire range of issues concerning bilateral relations, including a possible energy dialogue," Peskov said when asked whether Putin planned to discuss the possibility of resuming Turkmen gas purchases and building a Caspian gas pipeline.
