Tehran, IRNA – Deputy Secretary General of the Islamic Coalition Party Hamid Reza Taraghi said the negotiating team is after gaining JCPOA economic interests for the Iranian nation but if the US provides no guarantee, reviving the nuclear deal will not be necessary.
Speaking to IRNA, Taraghi referred to the Iranian negotiating team’s insistence on receiving guarantee from the United States, saying that there is no unity and integration among Congress, Senate and the president with regard to negotiations.
There is no way but to get the necessary guarantees from the West to show their commitment to this agreement, at least for a certain period of time.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he urged the US to officially announce the fact that safeguards issues have been settled.
Considering the peaceful nature of Iran nuclear program, the US should guarantee that it would treat with Iran like other NPT members states.
