Kanpur: There was a film scene outside the Motijheel Park area here on Friday afternoon.
The bike-riding parents got angry after seeing the daughter with the boy of the locality. The boy was allegedly beaten up and thrown down the middle of the road. He was beaten so much that his nose started bleeding.
On getting information, the police took all four into custody. The matter occurred in Swarup Nagar police station area.
Police station in-charge Dhananjay Pandey told that on Friday afternoon, a minor lover couple resident of Raipurwa had come to visit Motijheel. Both of them were standing in front of the Maggi shop.
In the meantime the bike-riding parents passing by the way recognised their daughter. Showing anger at the daughter, the father slapped her in the middle of the road.
Until the lover boy could fathom the matter the father also caught him on the road. He was reportedly shown no mercy in beating him up with kicks and punches.
The police took them to the police station. The girl's mother told that she had left home to go to college.
With the boy of the locality, they reached for a walk at Motijheel area. Angered by this, the father beat both of them.
They belonged to the same locality of Raipurwa. Both of them started meeting each other outside the house secretly.
The girl's parents caught both of them red-handed. That's why they received slaps. However, both parties reached an agreement. As a result, no action was taken.
