Kanpur: Employees working in Kanpur court started a ruckus on Friday morning demanding security.
After the sloganeering, work in all courts and offices came to a standstill. Judicial staff gathered in the verandah of the new building and sat on a dharna raising their demands.
During this, there was confusion among the litigants. Due to the uproar, all judicial work came to a standstill.
Staff leaders say that the provincial union has been informed about the incident. Only after his instructions, further course will be decided.
According to the information, there was a dispute between two people on the court premises here late on Thursday evening.
A scuffle ensued in the dispute. These people entered the office of a court fighting. During this altercation, the computer and printer kept in the office got damaged.
When the employees complained about the demand for security, they were ignored. They got agitated following the reverse action. This led them to start dharna.
