Tehran, IRNA – Iran will start construction of six steam units in two power plants with an investment of 800 million euros, according to the CEO of Saba Group, an energy holding operated by government-affiliated Mostazafan Foundation.

Mohsen Amiri said on Sunday that the Iranian government had approved the allocation of funds for the six new steam power plants, adding that Iran's National Development Fund will provide for the foreign exchange investment needed in the projects.

09 Apr 2023; MEMO: Saudi Arabia has signed an agreement to finance a Pakistani dam project, worth over $240 million.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Mohmand Hydropower Dam Project on the Swat River in north-west Pakistan is to be funded through a "soft development loan."

With the delivery of the first fresh nuclear fuel to the plant site on 27 April, the Akkuyu plant will become a nuclear power facility.
