Ganashakti, Ranchi, July 5 : At the call of Opposition Parties & Social Organizations against anti-people Amendment in Land Acquisition Act and subversion of peace and amity in the state by the ruling party BJP,Jharkhand Bandh was unprecedented, spontaneous and complete.
State Secretariat of CPI(M) Jharkhand congratulated sensible people of Jharkhand for their magnificent support for the success of Bandh. Thousands of activists of Political Parties and Social organisatios were rounded of by the police. Preliminary reports show that more than 1000 party members of of CPI(M) were arrested .
BJP- AJSU led Raghuvar Das government, being panicked, resorted to all repressive measures to foil this democratic protest of people. Resolute Political will and wisdom of people defeated the nefarious anti-democratic and authoritarian move of the BJP and gave a clear signal to outright reject and defeat their anti-people policies .
