Kanpur: Disturbed with the insanitation in front of their houses, the locality residents thought it out to first clear the dirty spot and then furnish it by encircling the place with green cotton.
The whole space has been developed as a badminton court. Talking to the youths who were playing badminton in the evening hours told: We are happy to change the use of space. Now there is no dirty smell and filth here. Everyone appreciates our efforts.
There is no dearth of dirty spots in KDA Colony in Jajmau area. But this particular change has brought ample alteration in the look of the road.
The residents also stated that what the civic body was to do has been performed by us. We have even cleaned the filth. Others are of course appreciating the endeavour.
