22 Apr 2021; MEMO:Jordan did not receive medical aid from Israel, state-owned Petra quoted an official source as saying yesterday.
"Jordan has enough Covid-19 tests, secured its needs of ventilators and facial masks that are produced by its factories, and these are what the press reports said the kingdom had received from Israel," the source said.
Haaretz recently said that Israel would transfer a "large amount of medical aid to Jordan to support the Arab country in its battle against the coronavirus."
So far, a total of 695,390 people have contracted the virus in Jordan, 8,429 of whom have died, and 654,493 others have recovered, according to the US' Worldometers.
