Kanpur: In a major reshuffle of the police officers in the Uttar Pradesh government, fresh postings have been ordered.
This reshuffle was carried out after assembly elections in the state As many as, 14 Indian Police Service officials were transferred by the state government on Friday.
One transfer from Kanpur Nagar District has also come into effect.
The Superintendent of Police of the district of Maharajganj Pradeep Gupta has been made the Commandant of the 37 PAC battalion in Kanpur Nagar district.
While, Vikas Kumar Vidya, the current Commandant of the 37 PAC battalion will take charge as the new SP of Hathras District, as reported.
