India: Varun fined for driving bike without helmet, is not it a sort of Bawaal?

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan was fined with a traffic challan while shooting for his upcoming movie Bawaal, here.

On April 14, the actor shot a few sequences in the city's busiest regions.

As the actor looked busy with the shoot, he was reportedly seen riding a motorcycle without a helmet in the footage.

Also, there was a phoney number plate on the motorcycle, which was also against the rules, and a new challan would be issued soon.

The traffic police issued a challan worth Rs 1000 for riding without a helmet near the shopping centre at Bada Chauraha under the Kotwali police station area on April 16.

Rs1,000 challan for driving without a helmet at Harrisganj in the Cantt police station area was also affected.

"On the basis of the videos and photographs, two Challans have been issued to Varun Dhawan on Saturday for riding a bike without a helmet.

Action will be taken to confiscate the two-wheeler in the fake number plate case on the complaint of the bike owner" said Sankalp Sharma, DCP Traffic.
