BRUSSELS, February 25. /TASS/: The European Union (EU) approved the 10th sanctions package against Russia that blacklists 121 individuals and legal entities, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell announced on Twitter on Saturday.

The new sanctions package against Russia blacklists 121 individuals and legal entities, imposes new significant import/export restrictions and bans what Borrell claimed are Russian ‘propaganda’ media outlets.

The EU Council said on its website on February 25 that the new sanctions package against Russia “imposes further export bans on critical technology and industrial goods, such as electronics, specialized vehicles, machine parts, spare parts for trucks and jet engines, as well as goods for the construction sector which can be directed to Russia's military.”

For the first time ever, the EU’s blacklist will “include seven Iranian entities manufacturing military unmanned aerial vehicles, which have been used by Russia’s military.”
