PYONGYANG, October 19. /TASS/: Russia is ready to discuss and consider Turkey’s initiative to establish a guarantor system in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with Moscow and Ankara staying in touch on the issue, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told reporters in Pyongyang.
"We are ready to discuss any constructive proposals. The said initiative <…> is clearly driven by the intention to de-escalate things and bring the situation back to normal," Russia’s top diplomat said.
PYONGYANG, October 18. /TASS/: Moscow expresses solidarity and full support for Pyongyang's course of safeguarding its independence and right to determine its development guidelines, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at an official government reception.
"Russia expresses solidarity and full support for the determination of the DPRK under the guidance of its leader, comrade Kim Jong Un to defend its independence and the right of its people to determine their own fate and ways of development," Lavrov pointed out.
Sept 4 (Reuters) - Kim Jong Un plans to travel to Russia this month to meet President Vladimir Putin and discuss the possibility of supplying Moscow with weapons for the war in Ukraine, as Russia says it is seeking closer military ties with North Korea.
