MOSCOW, December 2. /TASS/: Russia will set up a continuous radar field around its borders to early track the launches of cruise missiles, the take-offs of combat aircraft and other aerodynamic targets, the Defense Ministry reported on Monday.

"In a perspective, a continuous radar field will be set up for aerodynamic targets similar to the missile early warning system," the ministry said.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Turkey’s presidential administration has said that the purchase date for more S-400 missile systems from Russia is just a technicality and that it thinks a deal will happen before too long, the RIA news agency reported on Monday.

Moscow hopes to seal a deal to supply Turkey with more S-400 missile systems in the first half of next year, the head of Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport said last month.

MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/: Iran, Russia and China will hold joint naval exercises in the Indian Ocean on December 22, 2019 - January 20, 2020, Iranian navy commander Rear Adm. Hossein Khanzadi said on Saturday.

"The aim of those exercises is to ensure collective security and help boost the security in the northern part of the Indian Ocean, where various incidents, including pirate attacks, are taking place," Iran’s Tasnim news agency quoted the official as saying.

Delegations from the three nations drafted a preliminary plan of the drills in October.

CHITA, December 1. /TASS/: A total of 19 people were killed and 22 others were injured after a passenger bus plunged into the river in the Transbaikal Region, in Russia’s Far East, the Emergencies Ministry told TASS on Sunday.

"According to updated information, the bus was carrying 43 passengers and a driver. A total of 41 people were injured in the road accident, 19 of them were killed, including two children. Some 14 people were hospitalized and three of them are in serious condition," a spokesperson for the ministry said.
