New York, Sep 23 (PTI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here Sunday night to participate in the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly after delivering an electrifying address in Houston to over 50,000 members of the Indian diaspora at a mega community event also addressed by President Donald Trump.

AMMAN, Sept 23 (NNN-PETRA) – King Abdullah, Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El Sisi, and Iraqi President, Barham Saleh, held a trilateral summit in New York, on Sunday, that focused on the importance of bolstering coordination among the three countries.

The summit, attended by senior officials from the three countries, covered means to enhance economic, trade and investment cooperation, to serve mutual interests and Arab causes, a Royal Court statement said.

NEW YORK (AP) — British Prime Minister Boris Johnson says he’ll tell U.S. President Donald Trump that the U.K.’s state-funded health service will be off the table in any future trade negotiations, and that the U.S. will have to open its markets to British goods if it wants to make a deal.

NEW YORK (AP) — Britain has concluded that Iran was responsible for attacks on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Sunday. He said the U.K. would consider taking part in a U.S.-led military effort to bolster the Gulf kingdom’s defenses.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Three people died and four others were hospitalized early Sunday in what police said appeared to be a mass drug overdose.

The victims, all men, appear to have taken narcotics at the same time and in the same place in an apartment on Pittsburgh’s South Side, authorities said. It wasn’t immediately clear which drug or combination of drugs was involved. Investigators were interviewing survivors at the hospital.
