Russia urges US to refrain from revising international law

US to consider all options of pushing Russian troops out of Venezuela: Trump

WASHINGTON, March 27. /TASS/. The US will consider all possible courses of action in order to make Russian troops leave Venezuela, US President Donald Trump said during the meeting with the wife of Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido at the White House, the Reuters agency reports.

"Russia has to get out," Trump stated. In response to a question about how Washington aims to accomplish this, the US leader said: "We’ll see. All options are open.".

Golan Heights is occupied territory: Chinese envoy

UNITED NATIONS, March 27 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese envoy said Wednesday that the Golan Heights is recognized by the international community as an occupied territory.

The UN Security Council has adopted several resolutions that demand Israeli withdrawal from the Golan Heights, which it seized from Syria in 1967, Wu Haitao, the deputy permanent representative of the Chinese mission to the United Nations, told a Security Council meeting on the Golan Heights.

Chinese envoy asks for int'l support for political process in Syria

UNITED NATIONS, March 27 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese envoy on Wednesday called on the international community to continue pushing for the political process in Syria.

"Years of conflict in Syria have brought untold misery to Syria and its people. The Syrian people yearn for an early peace so that they can return, rebuild, and resume a life in tranquility," said Wu Haitao, China's deputy permanent representative to the United Nations, in a Security Council meeting.

Trump tells Russia to pull back from Venezuela

WASHINGTON, March 27 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that Russia should pull back its presence in Venezuela, a day after Russia defended its position on this issue.

"Russia has to get out," Trump told the press in the Oval Office where he met with Fabiana Rosales, wife of Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido. Trump added that Russia understands U.S. stance "very well."

Boeing 737 MAX makes emergency landing in Florida

Chinese, U.S. companies jointly building mega methanol plant in Louisiana

BATON ROUGE, the United States, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Deep into St. James Parish, U.S. state of Louisiana, hundreds of construction workers are busy working on framed structures and installing giant equipment.

The 1,300-acre site on the west side of the Mississippi River will be home to a mega methanol production facility.

Yuhuang Chemical Industries Inc. (YCI), a subsidiary of China's Shandong Yuhuang Chemical, is constructing a 1.85-billion-dollar methanol plant here.
