Iran Signed 300-Million-USD MoU For Car Exports To Russia

TEHRAN, Nov 29 (NNN-FNA) – Iran signed a Memorandum of Understanding valued at 300 million U.S. dollars with Russia, for car exports to the country.

Russia is one of the customers of Iranian automobiles, Mohammadreza Najafi-Manesh, president of the Association of Homogeneous Powertrain Industries and Parts Manufacturers, was quoted as saying.

Najafi-Manesh noted that, Iran had exported some 1,000 vehicles to Venezuela, adding that, more orders from the South American country are expected in the future.

39 injured in road accident in Türkiye

ANKARA, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- At least 39 people were injured in a traffic accident in the northwestern Bartin province of Türkiye on Tuesday, Demiroren News Agency reported.

A passenger bus overturned on the Zonguldak-Bartin highway near Akcamescit region. A large number of police, firefighters and medical teams have been dispatched to the scene, the agency reported.

The injured were transferred to hospitals by ambulance, it said, adding that an investigation into the accident is underway.

Palestinian shot dead after injuring Israeli soldier in car-ramming attack

JERUSALEM, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- A Palestinian man was shot dead after injuring an Israeli soldier in a car-ramming attack in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, the Israeli military said in a statement.

The man drove to a gas station near the settlement of Kokhav Ya'akov in the central West Bank, where he rammed the car into a female soldier and injured her, according to the statement.

Qatar to supply liquefied natural gas to Germany from 2026

DOHA, Qatar (AP) — Qatar is to supply liquefied natural gas to Germany under a 15-year deal signed Tuesday as the European economic powerhouse scrambles to replace Russian gas supplies that have been cut during the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Officials gave no dollar value for the deal, which would begin in 2026. Under the agreement, Qatar would send up to 2 million tons of the gas to Germany through an under-construction terminal at Brunsbuettel.

Sudan freezes trade and professional union activities

29 Nov 2022; MEMO: Sudan's de facto president and chief of staff Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan yesterday ordered a ban on all trade and professional union activities across the country, the official Sudan News Agency (SUNA) has reported.

The SUNA quoted a statement from the country's Sovereignty Council as saying that Burhan issued a decision to freeze the activity of "trade unions, professional federations, and the Businessmen General Union."
