17 July 2020; MEMO: Saudi Arabia’s exports of crude oil and petroleum products fell 41.2 per cent in May month on month, the Joint Organisations Data Initiative (JODI) revealed yesterday.

According to JODI, Saudi Arabia exported 6.020 million barrels per day (bpd) in May 2020, compared to 10.237 million bpd in April.

New Delhi, Jul 16 (PTI) India on Thursday said it has strongly protested with Pakistan against the construction of the Diamer-Bhasha dam in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and condemned Islamabad's continuous attempts to bring about material changes in Indian territories under its illegal occupation.

India's strong protest came after Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday kicked off construction work at the Diamer-Bhasha dam in Chilas in Gilgit-Baltistan, notwithstanding New Delhi's objection to the China-backed mega project.

New Delhi, Jul 16 (PTI) India on Thursday said the South China Sea is a "part of global commons" and it firmly stands for the freedom of navigation and overflight in these international waterways, an assertion that comes days after the US rejected most of China's maritime claims in the region.

India's assertion comes after the Trump administration, in a major policy decision, categorically rejected the territorial claims made by Beijing in the South China Sea, stating that it has no legal grounds to unilaterally impose its will on the region.

MOSCOW, July 16./TASS/: The final, phase 3, trials of a Russian vaccine against coronavirus developed by the Gamalei National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology may be completed quicker than in other countries, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev, told the Vesti news program on Rossiya-1television on Thursday.

"This is the final phase that is necessary to put the vaccine into active use. And we believe that Russia will possibly go through this phase quicker than other countries," Dmitriev said.

16 July 2020; MEMO: Turkey and Russia have agreed to resume flights between the two countries starting yesterday, Turkish transport and infrastructure minister announced.

Adil Karaismailoglu said that the decision was made during a recent phone call between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.
