Israel sells Greece guided anti-tank missiles worth $400m

11 Apr 2023; MEMO: Israel on Monday announced a nearly $400 million agreement to supply Greece with guided anti-tank missiles, says Anadolu Agency.

In a statement, the Israeli Defense Ministry said it would provide Greece with Spike missiles, made by the state-run company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.

Greece reiterates its optimism on relations with Turkiye

10 Apr 2023; MEMO: Greece on Monday reiterated its optimism on relations with Turkiye, which has seen a major thaw in the last two months.

It would be wrong for Greece not to reach out to the hand extended by Turkiye, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias said in an interview he gave to major broadcaster SKAI TV.

"It would be a critical act for our national interests," he said.

Work on Zojila tunnel in full swing, over 40 pc drilling achieved; project to be complete by Dec 2026

Zojilla (J-K), Apr 9 (PTI) The work on the strategic Zojila tunnel – an all-weather connection between the Kashmir valley and the Ladakh region -- is going on at a rapid pace and over 40 per cent of the drilling has been completed, the construction company said on Sunday.

The company said it is hopeful of completing the project by December 2026.

India: CNG, piped cooking gas price cut by up to Rs 6 in Delhi

New Delhi, Apr 8 (PTI) The prices of CNG and cooking gas piped to household kitchens in the national capital on Saturday were cut by up to Rs 6 - the first reduction in two years - after the government changed the pricing formula of natural gas.

CNG in the national capital territory of Delhi will now cost Rs 73.59 per kg, down from Rs 79.56, Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) - the firm which retails CNG and piped cooking gas in the city, said in a Twitter post.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he and Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu discussed "a failure" to implement the terms of the Black Sea grain deal.
