KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Malaysian pharmaceutical company Pharmaniaga on Monday announced its entry into the vaccine export market, following the delivery of localized Chinese COVID-19 vaccines to Myanmar.

The initial order was some 200,000 doses of locally filled-and-finished CoronaVac vaccine to be delivered in several batches, manufactured by its wholly-owned subsidiary Pharmaniaga LifeScience Sdn Bhd (PLS) at its European Union certified high-tech plant. The first batch was delivered to Myanmar on Nov. 13, the company said in a statement.

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 (NNN-Bernama) — Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob will lead the Malaysian delegation at the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM) scheduled at 7 pm Friday.

Set to be chaired by New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, all 21 APEC Economic Leaders are expected to participate in the meeting.

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11 (NNN-Bernama) — Malaysia’s electrical and electronics (E&E) sector has huge potential to meet the increasing global demand particularly in the semiconductor market worldwide, said Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC).

Based on the World Semiconductor Trade Statistics, the global semiconductor sector is projected to grow at a rate of 20 per cent or US$527 billion in 2021 and will increase by another 10 per cent in 2022 (US$573 billion).
