Iraq President calls for an end to Palestine people's suffering

30 Nov 2022; MEMO: Marking the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, Iraqi President, Abdel Latif Rashid, stressed the Palestinians' "legitimate right to establish the Palestinian State, with Jerusalem as its capital", and called for "joint action to put an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people."

Rashid's remarks came in a tweet posted on his official account on Twitter yesterday.

Israel: Lapid slams politicians' incitement against army commanders

30 Nov 2022; MEMO: Outgoing Israeli Prime Minister, Yair Lapid, on Wednesday, slammed what he described as "wild incitement" against commanders of the Israeli army, Anadolu News Agency reports.

Lapid's statement was made in response to criticism of extremist politician, Itamar Ben-Gvir, to the army punishment of soldiers who assaulted Israeli activists last week in the West Bank city of Hebron.

Ceremony held in Ankara commemorates 75th anniversary of Pak-Turkiye diplomatic ties

ANKARA, Nov 30 (APP): A tree plantation ceremony was held in the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Türkiye.

The event, hosted by Turkish Deputy Minister Ambassador Faruk Kaymakci, was attended by Ambassador of Pakistan to Türkiye Dr. Yousaf Junaid, officials of Pakistan Embassy and Turkish diplomats.

Deputy Minister Kaymakci highlighted how the two states had supported each during critical times, as the relationship evolved from a strategic perspective.

Five More Palestinians Killed By Israeli Soldiers In West Bank

RAMALLAH/GAZA, Nov 30 (NNN-WAFA) – Five more Palestinians were killed, in clashes with Israeli soldiers, in four separate incidents in the West Bank, prompting condemnation and calls for stopping the Israeli violence against Palestinians.

Earlier yesterday, the Palestinian health ministry said in a statement that, two Palestinian brothers, Jawad Al-Rimawi, 21, and Zafer Al-Rimawi, 22, were killed, after they were shot by Israeli soldiers, near the village of Kafr Ein in the north-west of the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Three Killed In Landmine Blasts In Yemen

SANAA, Nov 30 (NNN-YPA) – Landmine explosions killed two children and a man, in Yemen yesterday, Yemen’s state TV reported.

The two children were killed in a landmine blast while herding sheep, in the Rahabah district, in the southern central province of Marib, local authorities was cited by Yemen TV as saying, adding that, a third child was wounded in the blast.

Berlin welcomes 'super' 15-year LNG gas deal with Qatar

29 Nov 2022; MEMO: Germany's Economics Minister on Tuesday welcomed the term of an agreement with Qatar on deliveries of liquefied natural gas to Germany, calling it "super", Anadolu News Agency reports.

"Fifteen years is great," said Robert Habeck, at an industry conference in Berlin, adding that the duration could also have been an even longer contract.

Referring to the 15-year term, he said Germany wants to become climate neutral by 2045.
