Erdogan calls for hijab rights to be made constitutional

5 October 2022; MEMO: Turkiye's President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, criticised the main opposition party CHP's proposal for the headscarf by reminding the past highlighting to change the Constitution to completely solve the problem.

Accusing CHP's leader, Kılıcdaroglu, of 'abuse', Erdogan stated that the headscarf was no longer a problem, and that no one had a problem in public or schools.

Erdogan said, "If CHP is sincere, let's amend the Constitution to completely solve the problem."

Saudi Arabia Launched Firm To Develop Downtown Areas In 12 Cities

RIYADH, Oct 4 (NNN-SPA) – Saudi Arabian Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, announced yesterday, the launch of the Saudi Downtown Company, for urban development across the kingdom.

Affiliated with the Saudi Public Investment Fund, the company will build and develop downtown areas and mixed-use destinations in 12 cities, including Al-Madinah, Al-Baha, Najran, Jizan, Taif and Al-Jandal.

The nationwide unrest sparked by her death has spiralled into the biggest challenge to Iran's clerical leaders in years, with protesters calling for the downfall of the Islamic Republic founded in 1979.

1 Palestinian killed, 1 fugitive surrenders in Israel raid

DEIR AL-HATAB, West Bank (AP) — Israeli troops exchanged fire with Palestinians during an arrest raid in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, killing one Palestinian and forcing the surrender of a wanted man.

The raid unfolded in the village of Deir al-Hatab, near the West Bank city of Nablus, a recent flashpoint of violence.

The Israeli military identified the wanted man as an activist in the Islamic militant group Hamas, and said he was suspected in a shooting attack on an Israeli bus and a taxi near Nablus earlier this week.

Russia military carrier avoids collision with US drones in Syria

5 October 2022; MEMO: A Russian Antonov An-26 jet avoided a collision with two US drones in the northern airspace of Syria, Deputy Chief of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation, Oleg Yegorov, has announced.

Egorov said that "the so-called international anti-terror coalition led by the US continues to carry out illegal drone flights with combat equipment in the airspace of the Syrian Arab Republic," according to Russia's RT channel.
