Russia: Prospective Nord Stream 2 pipe layer en route to Spain

MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/: The Akademik Cherskiy pipelaying vessel indicated earlier as a potential ship to complete the Nord Stream 2 pipeline construction by Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak continues moving towards Europe. Currently the ship that departed from the port of Nakhodka in the Russian Far East is navigating around Africa near the Angolan shore and is heading for the north of the Atlantic Ocean en route to the Spanish port of Las Palmas, according to the data of the Myshiptracking web portal.

The vessel has been operated by Gazprom Flot since 2016.

RUSSIA: OPEC+ conference postponed to April 9 for technical reasons, says Kremlin

MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/: The OPEC+ teleconference has been postponed from April 6 to April 9 for technical reasons, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Monday, adding that relevant preparations are underway.

MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/: The Northern Fleet’s Project 22350 lead frigate Admiral Gorshkov has left for the Belomorsk base for undergoing maintenance and loading a Tsirkon hypersonic missile for the next test-launch, a source in the defense industry told TASS on Monday.

"The frigate Admiral Gorshkov has left for the Belomorsk naval base for undergoing some maintenance work and also for loading a Tsirkon missile launcher," the source said.

As the source specified, "the hypersonic missile’s second test-firings are expected to be carried out from the ship in April-May."
