US, Canadian, Norwegian military to carry out observation flight over Russia

MOSCOW, February 25. /TASS/: A joint mission of the United States, Canada and Norway will perform an observation flight above Russia’s territory on February 25-29, chief of the Russian National Center for Nuclear Risk Reduction Sergei Ryzhkov said on Tuesday.

"Implementing the international Treaty on Open Skies, a joint mission of the United States, Canada and Norway will perform an observation flight above the territory of the Russian Federation in the period of February 25-29, on the Swedish Saab 340 aircraft to take off from Kubinka airfield [near Moscow]," he said.

Russia to conduct observation flight over Turkey this week

"The observation flight over the territory of Turkey will be performed on February 25-28, 2020 from the Open Skies airfield of Eskisehir. The maximum flight range will be 1,900 km," Ryzhkov said.

The flight will be carried out by the Russian surveillance plane Tu-154M-LK-1.

Over 30 OneWeb satellites delivered from Florida to Baikonur spaceport

MOSCOW, February 24. /TASS/: A new batch of British OneWeb communication satellites has been sent from a Florida plant to the Baikonur spaceport, the press service of the company’s branch in Russia said on Monday.

"The plane with 34 satellites took off at 01.55 Moscow Time from the United States," a spokesperson said.

The delivery to Baikonur is expected on February 25.
