Kremlin cautions against taking into account fake news on Russia-US-Israel meeting

MOSCOW, June 3. /TASS/: Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has not confirmed the possibility of a deal on Syria between the United States, Israel and Russia.

The Asharq Al-Awsat daily reported on its website on Sunday the United States and Israel were going to address Russia with a proposal at the upcoming trilateral meeting in Jerusalem for a deal that might include the removal of sanctions from the Syrian authorities in exchange for Moscow’s actions crucial to containing Iranian influence in that country.

Number of injured in Dzerzhinsk blasts climbs to 82

MOSCOW, June 1. /TASS/: The number of those injured in the blasts, which rocked the Kristall explosives plant in the city of Dzerzhinsk in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region on Saturday, has increased to 82, while 15 of them are in hospitals, the regional health ministry told TASS.

Earlier, 79 people were reported injured.

Russia’s ambassador sees no conflict with Belarus over Druzhba oil pipeline incident

MOSCOW, June 2. /TASS/: Russia’s newly appointed Ambassador to Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev does not see any conflict in the incident with contaminated oil in the Druzhba oil pipeline, as the countries confirmed their readiness to get to the bottom of that, the ambassador said in an interview with TASS.

"I cannot see any conflict ‘around the oil pipeline,’ as the sides have confirmed their readiness to get to the bottom of the incident, to wait for results of the commission’s work and to do their utmost so that nothing like that will ever happen in the future," Mezentsev said.

People injured in blasts in Dzerzhinsk to receive $2,300 each as compensation

MOSCOW, June 2. /TASS/: The people injured in explosions at the Kristall explosives factory in the town of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, will receive compensations of 100,000 rubles ($1,530) from the regional budget and 50,000 rubles ($765) from the town budget each, Nizhny Novgorod Region Governor Gleb Nikitin’s press service reported, citing the governor.

Yamal-601 satellite successfully delivered to orbit — Roscosmos

MOSCOW, May 31. /TASS/: The Yamal-601 satellite has separated from the Briz-M upper stage and was delivered to the target orbit, the Roscosmos press service said on Friday.

"The Proton-M carrier rocket with the Briz-M upper stage that was launched from the Baikonur spaceport on May 30 at 8:42pm Moscow time, successfully delivered to the target orbit the Yamal-601 spacecraft in the interests of the Russian satellite operator Gazprom Space Systems," the press service said.

Russia ready to facilitate agreement between Iran, Persian Gulf states

TOKYO, May 31. /TASS/: Moscow is ready to facilitate a non-aggression pact between Iran and other Persian Gulf states, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told reporters on Friday.

"I think, Tehran’s initiative on signing a non-aggression pact is a step in [the right] direction. I know that not everyone, but a number of member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council are willing to consider the initiative. We will be ready to facilitate this process," Lavrov pointed out.

Russia-Belarus allied relations in interests of both countries — ambassador

MOSCOW, May 29. /TASS/: The union treaty between Russia and Belarus is needed to boost the economies and social sectors in both countries,, Russia’s Ambassador to Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev said in a televised interview with Russia’s Rossiya-24 TV channel on Wednesday.

"People do need allied relations between Russia and Belarus, our economies do need them. They are needed to achieve growth and enrichment in the social sector. Last but not least, millions of citizens of Belarus and of the Russian Federation need them," he said.

New round of Russian-Iranian talks on nuclear deal to be held soon — diplomat

MOSCOW, May 30. /TASS/: Russia will hold another round of talks with Iran on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told Rossiyskaya Gazeta daily.

"This whole situation, along with concrete spheres of joint work between us, Iranians and other parties to the JCPOA, were in focus of our discussions in Tehran. We agreed that the next round of contacts will take place in the near future," Ryabkov said.
