President Donald Trump says he believes the U.S. and China can “do something” that will be “truly monumental” as he and China’s Xi Jinping meet on the sidelines of a world leaders’ conference in Japan.

Trump is urging the Chinese leader to “even it up” on trade at start of talks on tariffs disputes.

And he says, “it would be historic” if the sides could reach “a fair trade deal.”

OSAKA, Japan (AP) — A trade war between two economic titans faced a critical junction Saturday, as President Donald Trump met with China’s Xi Jinping as both sides signaled a desire to de-escalate the year-long conflict despite doubts about either side’s willingness to compromise.

Kanpur: Taking stern step against the dairy stalls functioning in the city's various areas, the Kanpur Municipal Corporation in compliance with the CM's order has asked the help of the DM and the SSP for providing one Magistrate and one company PAC in removal of the menace. The Centre is learnt to have told Aam Aadmi Party's government in Delhi to look at alternate ways to ensure women's safety and access to transport network - reasons that had been cited by CM Arvind Kejriwal for making Metro rides free.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has a 50:50 sharing ratio between the Centre and the Delhi government.

NEW YORK, June 27 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. economy has seen increasing downside risks against the backdrop of trade tensions and slower global economic growth, analysts have said.

The guideline changes, announced Thursday, are largely cosmetic. The updates don’t change Facebook’s underlying policies.
