Vietnam, New Zealand Signed Cooperation Deals On Education, Transport

HANOI, Nov 15 (NNN-VNA) – Vietnamese Prime Minister, Pham Minh Chinh, and his New Zealand counterpart, Jacinda Ardern, yesterday, witnessed the signing of bilateral cooperation documents, after their talks here.

Cooperation deals between the ministries of education, and transport were signed. One of the deals involves civil aviation cooperation.

World Bank Reaffirmed Support To Bangladesh For Inclusive Growth

DHAKA, Nov 15 (NNN-BSS) – The World Bank’s Vice President for South Asia, Martin Raiser, reaffirmed the bank’s continued support, to help Bangladesh navigate through the current economic challenges and achieve resilient and inclusive growth.

“We’re ready to lend our full support to these efforts at this challenging time,” he said, after meeting with Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, during his visit to the country, which concluded on Sunday.

Cambodia, Brunei Vowed To Reinforce Ties, Cooperation

PHNOM PENH, Nov 15 (NNN-AKP) – Cambodia and Brunei, yesterday, vowed to reinforce their bilateral relations and cooperation for mutual benefits, according to a joint statement.

The statement was issued at the end of a one-day state visit of Brunei’s Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah to Cambodia, as the two countries marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.

During the visit, the sultan had a meeting with Cambodian King, Norodom Sihamoni, and also met with Cambodian Prime Minister, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the statement said.

APEC Economic Leaders’ Week kicks off in Thailand

BANGKOK, November 14. /TASS/. The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum Week opens in the Thai capital of Bangkok on Monday.

From November 14 and through November 19, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center is to host meetings of senior APEC officials, ministerial meetings, plenary sessions, exhibitions and a number of other events related to the forum. BMW to invest 10 bln yuan in battery production project in China

SHENYANG, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- BMW Group's joint venture in China, BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. (BBA), will invest 10 billion yuan (about 1.4 billion U.S. dollars) into a new battery production project in northeast China's Liaoning Province.

The signing ceremony of the project was held Friday in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning. The signed agreement will see BBA expand battery production capacity at its Shenyang production base.
