ZHENGZHOU, March 2 (Xinhua) -- China added a new route to its China-Europe freight train service, as a freight train made its maiden trip from Zhengzhou for Liege in Belgium on Saturday.

The service exclusive for cross-border e-commerce is the first of its kind departing from the capital of central China's Henan Province.

According to Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co. Ltd., it is the first freight line in the country to operate under customs surveillance code "9610" for cross-border e-commerce.

Noida, Mar 1 (PTI) The Noida Authority on Friday announced its annual budget for 2019-20 at Rs 5,827 crore, up from last fiscal's Rs 4,900 crore.

The authority also announced releasing its share in the funding for the upcoming international airport at Jewar, according to an official statement released after its 196th board meeting here.

"The board has also approved the proposal for providing 10-per cent developed plots, maximum to the size of 450 square metres, to farmers. We will send the proposal to government for its final approval," the official added.

PRISTINA, Kosovo (AP) — The European Parliament has called on Kosovo to suspend a 100-percent tariff on Serb goods to help restart reconciliation talks.

David McAllister, who is heading the European delegation visiting Kosovo, and Serbia earlier in the week, said Saturday it asked for the suspension of the tariff in all meetings with Kosovar leaders “as the only way to success.”

During a tour to both capitals earlier this week, two senior U.S. officials made the same call.

02 Mar 2019; AFP: US President Donald Trump on Friday urged China to abolish tariffs on agricultural products imported from the United States - adding that trade talks between the rival powers were going well.

"I have asked China to immediately remove all Tariffs on our agricultural products" the president wrote on Twitter.

He said his request was based on the fact that negotiations with China were "moving along nicely" - and his delay last week of a planned tariff increase on Chinese exports.
