Russian diplomat compares developments in Bolivia to Ukrainian events

MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/: The third Rezonans-N radar capable of spotting hypersonic missiles flying at a speed of 20 times the speed of sound and stealth aircraft is ready to assume combat duty on Russia’s Novaya Zemlya Arctic Archipelago, Rezonans Research Center CEO Ivan Nazarenko told TASS on Thursday.

"The third Rezonans-N radar in the Arctic has been deployed on Novaya Zemlya. It is turned on and tuned in, has undergone all the trials, has been accepted by the military and is ready to go on combat alert within the Northern Fleet," the chief executive said.

Russia’s 1st upgraded Tu-160M strategic bomber enters trials

MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/: Russia has assembled its first upgraded Tupolev Tu-160M strategic missile-carrying bomber and started its trials, a source in the defense industry told reporters on Thursday.

"On November 28, the first heavily upgraded Tu-160M strategic missile-carrying bomber was transferred from the production workshops to the flight testing station of the Kazan Aviation Enterprise for factory ground and flight tests," the source said.

After the ground tests are over, the Tu-160M will enter the stage of flight tests, the source added.

Death toll from Albanian earthquake reaches 27

MOSCOW, November 27. /TASS/: As information continues to pour in on the aftermath of yesterday’s earthquake that devastated Albania, its domestic newspaper Koha Jone reported that the death toll has now risen to 27 people.

Earlier reports stated that the catastrophe had taken 21 lives. Albania’s Ministry of Defense reported that the quake left more than 650 injured. The Albanian Telegraph Agency stated that 45 people had been rescued from surrounding rubble.

Two Russian strategic bombers fly over neutral waters of Sea of Japan and East China Sea

Kremlin troubled by calls for more sanctions against Russian sports
