Morocco lawyers file lawsuit against Israel minister

17 Nov 2021; MEMO: Four Moroccan lawyers have filed a lawsuit against Israel's National Security Adviser and Chief of Staff for National Security, Meir Ben-Shabbat, Anadolu Agency reported yesterday.

Ben-Shabbat is accused of committing a "war crime and a crime against humanity that claimed the lives of four Moroccan children" during the latest offensive on Gaza.

Israel: former police chief sentenced for sexual misconduct

17 Nov 2021; MEMO: The former head of the Israeli police service in Jerusalem has been sentenced for sexual misconduct, Israel Hayom reported on Tuesday. Nissan Shaham was also accused of fraud and breach of trust, and will apparently serve just 10 months in prison, starting on 30 December.

Delhi air pollution: Schools, colleges to remain shut till further orders

New Delhi, Nov 17 (PTI) The Delhi government has decided to shut schools and other educational institutions, and ban the entry of vehicles from outside, except for essential services, till further orders amid rising pollution levels in the national capital, Environment Minister Gopal Rai announced on Wednesday.

It has also decided to extend work from home for Delhi government employees and the ban on construction and demolition activities till Sunday.

Russia rolls out cutting-edge system to control swarm of drones from aircraft or warship

Iran ready to conclude long-term comprehensive cooperation agreement with Russia — Raisi

TEHRAN, November 16. /TASS/: The Iranian side is ready to conclude a long-term agreement on comprehensive cooperation with Russia, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said during a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. 

"We are ready to conclude the document on long-term comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in order to accelerate the process of the further expansion of bilateral interaction," the presidential press service quoted the Iranian leader as saying.

Iran, Turkey agree to develop "cooperation roadmap", vow to boost all-out ties

TEHRAN, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Iranian foreign minister and his visiting Turkish counterpart on Monday agreed on designing a long-term "cooperation roadmap" and vowed to further comprehensive ties.

At the joint press conference held in the capital Tehran, the Iranian Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that during the Monday talks, both sides agreed to draw up a new roadmap for a long-term cooperation between Tehran and Ankara.

UAE: Airbus, Jazeera Airways reach $3.3 billion aircraft deal

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Airbus raked in more orders at the Dubai Air Show on Tuesday, reaching one valued over $3.3 billion to sell 28 new aircraft to Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways.

The European plane maker’s agreement includes 20 single-aisle A320neos and eight A321neos, which competes directly with Boeing’s 737 Max, along with an option to sell another five planes to the low-cost, fast-growing airline.
