Palestine President declares 3-day mourning on Jenin massacre

26 Jan 2023; MEMO: Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, declared on Thursday three days of mourning for Palestinians who were killed in the Jenin camp raid by Israeli Forces, Anadolu News Agency reports.

"The President declared mourning for three days, during which flags would be flown at half mast, to mourn the souls of the martyrs of the Jenin camp in the northern West Bank," the official Palestinian TV reported.

Israel demolishes Palestine Bedouin village of Al-Araqeeb for 212th time

24 Jan 2023; MEMO: The Israeli Forces demolished, on Tuesday, the Palestinian Bedouin village of Al-Araqeeb, in the Negev region in southern Israel, for the 212th time, Anadolu News Agency reported, citing local sources.

Eyewitnesses said Israeli bulldozers, under police protection, stormed the village and forced the villagers out of their tin houses and tents, before demolishing them for the 212th time.

Hamas says Netanyahu claim about Area C amounts to 'annexation and Judaisation'

25 Jan 2023; MEMO: Hamas has said that Benjamin Netanyahu's statements regarding the Palestinian presence and construction in the occupied West Bank constitute an official declaration of the annexation and Judaisation of Area C. The Israeli prime minister's comment that "Palestinian building [in Area C] … will not be tolerated" coincided with Israel's demolition of Al-Araqib in village in the occupied Negev for the 212th time.

Israel angered by visit of Western envoys to Al-Aqsa Mosque

23 Jan 2023; MEMO: Israeli is angry that EU and other Western envoys visited Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem last Wednesday without prior coordination with the occupation authorities, Israel Hayom reported on Sunday. According to the newspaper, the delegation included around 30 diplomats from EU countries, Canada, Australia and Argentina.

Another Palestinian Killed By Israeli Soldiers In W. Bank

RAMALLAH, Jan 22 (NNN-WAFA) – Another Palestinian was killed yesterday, by Israeli soldiers, near the West Bank city of Ramallah, Palestinian and Israeli sources said.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said in a statement that, it was informed, Tariq Maali, 42, was killed, north-west of the city, and that his body is being held by the Israeli security.

The statement did not give more details about the incident.

Palestinian President Urged U.S. Intervention To Stop Israel’s “Extremist Measures”

RAMALLAH, Jan 20 (NNN-WAFA) – Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, yesterday called on the U.S. government to intervene, to stop the Israeli new government’s measures against the Palestinians, before its too late.

Abbas made the remarks, during a meeting held at his office in the West Bank city of Ramallah, with U.S. National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan.

While calling on the U.S. to intervene to stop what he termed as “the Israeli government’s extremist measures,” Abbas accused Israel of destroying the remaining chances for peace and stability in the region.

Israeli police stops Jordanian ambassador from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque

18 Jan 2023; MEMO: Jordanian Ambassador Ghassan Majali was stopped by Israeli police at the Lion's Gate entrance to Al-Aqsa Mosque compound yesterday. The Israelis claimed that he was stopped because of a lack of coordination with the occupation authorities.

According to Israeli public broadcaster KAN, the police pointed out that the Jordanian diplomat was not denied entry, but just delayed briefly.
