Morocco authorities refuse services to German citizens, says embassy

11 June 2021; MEMO: The German Embassy in Rabat said on Thursday that the Moroccan authorities are refusing to provide services to German citizens in the country, without giving reasons, Anadolu has reported.

"Since 1 March, Morocco has unilaterally suspended its cooperation with the embassy as well as with German institutions, and also severed all channels of contact with the embassy, including the Consular Affairs office."

Assad regime forces kill 6, injure 13 civilians in Syria

11 June 2021; MEMO: An attack by Assad regime forces killed six and injured 13 civilians in north-western Syria, the Syria Civil Defence said today, Anadolu Agency reports.

According to a statement by the organisation also known as The White Helmets, the attack targeted Iblin village in Idlib countryside. Of the injured, three are in critical condition.

Israel mayor, Jewish extremists storm Arab school in Lod

11 June 2021; MEMO: The Israeli Mayor of Lod city, Yair Revivo, along with members of the religious nationalist movement known as the "Torah Nucleus" yesterday stormed an Arab primary school in the city in an effort to confiscate its playground to include it into the grounds of a Jewish school, Arab48 reported.

The move was carried out under the full protection of Israeli Police.

Security cooperation agreement signed by Turkey and Palestinian Authority enters into force

Two PA Security Officers Shot Dead In West Bank Clash With Israeli Troops

WEST BANK, Jun 10 (NNN-PNN) – Two officers in the Palestinian Authority’s Military Intelligence unit were reportedly shot dead last night, in an exchange of fire with Israeli forces operating in the northern West Bank.

A third Palestinian was critically wounded in the incident, which began when officers in the Yamam Border Police counterterrorism unit, sought to arrest several Palestinian suspects outside the headquarters of the PA Military Intelligence Unit in Jenin.

Saudi-led coalition says wants to prepare political ground for peace process in Yemen

(Reuters) --- The Saudi-led coalition fighting the Houthi group in Yemen said on Thursday it has stopped carrying out attacks near Sanaa or any other Yemeni city because it wants to prepare the political ground for a peaceful settlement.

The statement, made by the spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition and published by the Saudi state media, followed media reports of an attack on an armoured division belonging to the Iran-aligned Houthis near the Yemeni capital.
