Sudan's Hamdok would quit if post-coup deal not implemented - source

KHARTOUM, Dec 1 (Reuters) - Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok will quit if a political agreement he signed with the military last week is not implemented or fails to receive backing from political factions, a source close to him said on Wednesday.

Hamdok was released from house arrest and restored to his job under thedeal reached on Nov. 21, four weeks after he was removedin a military takeover.

UAE releases Turkish businessman after more than three years in custody

30 Nov 2021; MEMO: Turkish businessman and aid worker, Mehmet Ali Ozturk, who had been kept in Emirati custody since February 2018, was released on Monday, Middle East Eye reports.

According to the report, he was released as part of an annual pardon issued by UAE President, Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

"I'm very happy to be back in my country, and be healthy and with my family," Ozturk said.

UNRWA has run schools, clinics and food distribution programmes for millions of registered Palestinian refugee families across the Middle East since they were expelled by Zionist gangs in 1948.

Egyptian Int’l Defence Expo Kicks Off In Cairo

CAIRO, Nov 30 (NNN-MENA) – Egypt held yesterday, the second edition of its largest international defence expo, EDEX 2021, with more than 400 defence companies from 42 countries, showcasing their up-to-date defence products.

Inaugurated by Egyptian President, Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, the expo will run until Dec 2, at Egypt’s International Exhibition Centre in New Cairo, a city on the southern edge of the capital, Cairo.
