Israel PM's demand for settlers to bear arms incites violence: Palestine Foreign Ministry

02 April 2022; MEMO: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has called on all countries not to be drawn into misleading Israeli propaganda regarding the truce and has reiterated the need to hold the Israeli occupation government responsible for escalating violence.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry indicated that the Israeli intentions and plans aim to escalate the conflict to serve the occupation's interests and its expansionist colonial projects in the land of the State of Palestine.

30 March 2022; MEMO: The historical campaign to end Israel's occupation of Palestine is nearing its "South Africa moment", according to Omar Barghouti. The Palestinian activist spoke about the campaign he co-founded in 2005, the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, with Democracy for the Arab world Now (DAWN), in light of the Western response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine which include harsh sanctions against Moscow.

30 March 2022; MEMO: Palestinian Greek Orthodox Church leaders have denounced the "illegal" takeover of church property in occupied East Jerusalem by Israeli "extremists", highlighting once the again the "threat of extinction" from "radical" Israeli groups which was issued by Christian groups earlier this year.

Palestine cars vandalised by Israel settlers

31 March 2022; MEMO: Last night, Israeli settlers vandalised dozens of Palestinian cars across the occupied West Bank, reported Wafa news agency.

According to local Palestinians, a group of settlers hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles travelling near the entrance of Rameen village, north of Tulkarm, causing damage to a taxi with passengers inside.

Israel reinforces troops at Gaza fence ahead of Ramadan

30 March 2022; MEMO: Israel is reinforcing its troops deployed at the nominal border fence with the besieged Gaza Strip ahead of the fasting month of Ramadan, Anadolu reported on Tuesday.

According to Israeli media, said Anadolu, the Israeli occupation army fears an escalation of tension today, Land Day, and the holy month which starts at the weekend. Israeli, American and Arab officials have been coordinating their efforts to avoid clashes during Ramadan, which this year coincides with major Jewish and Christian holidays.

Jordan’s King, Palestinian President Discuss Regional Issues

RAMALLAH, Mar 29 (NNN-WAFA) – King Abdullah II of Jordan, yesterday, met with Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, in the West Bank city of Ramallah, to discuss regional issues.

The Jordanian king, who headed a high-ranking delegation, was received by Abbas and a senior Palestinian delegation.

During their meeting, the king reiterated that Jordan is fully standing by the side of the Palestinian people, and supports their legitimate rights and their just cause on all levels.

Palestine Follows With Concern Israel’s Latest Moves In Region: PM

RAMALLAH, Mar 29 (NNN-WAFA) – Palestinian Prime Minister, Mohammed Ishtaye, said yesterday, the Palestinian Authority is following with concern, Israel’s latest moves in the region.

Ishtaye made the remarks, as Israel is hosting a conference with foreign ministers from the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Egypt, as well as, U.S. Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, in the Negev desert region in southern Israel.
